OUR Host

Rev. Fr. Daniel Ogbeifun is a Roman Catholic Priest based in New York, USA. He was born around early 70s. He was ordained a priest in 2015. Fr. Daniel is from Edo State, Nigeria. He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at St. Joseph’s Major Seminary, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and Urbaniana Pontifical University, Rome. He further studied theology at Seat of Wisdom Major Seminary, Owerri, Nigeria. In 2010, he was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious Institute of Lumen Vitae in Belgium, where he obtained a degree in pastoral theology and catechesis. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Christ the King Seminary, East Aurora, New York.

Fr. Daniel’s passion for Peace and Sustainable Development is evident through his involvement in Peace Summits and Concerts in Nigeria and various nations. He has inspired many individuals worldwide through his priestly ministry and gospel songs, showcasing a unique African style of worship. Fr. Daniel is known for his talent, humility, and selflessness, making him a highly esteemed priest. His ministerial presence enables him to effectively connect with people to whom he ministers, particularly the sick, homebound, elderly, youth, and all individuals.

As a true pastor and Shepherd of Souls, Fr. Daniel is an inspirational and eloquent preacher of the Gospel, a skilled teacher, spiritual director, retreat moderator, mentor, and Ambassador of Peace. He firmly believes in the power of prayer and leads a life dedicated to prayer. In 2016, Fr. Daniel had the privilege of visiting Pope Francis, who blessed him and encouraged him in his peaceful endeavors.
